It is further recommended that the Committee continue to finalize its site selection recommendations for 2009, 2010, and 2011 in the spring of 2008.
This recommendation is made with the understanding that we would attempt to negotiate the best room rate possible (hopefully around $125 per night, since the rate offered is $139 per night), conduct another site visit in April to view the conference space and new smoke-free entrance area, and a commitment that the hotel entrances and conference space will be completed and smoke-free.
